Senior Estimator / Project Manager, Heavy Civil Infrastructure
Heavy Civil Construction Stouffville, Ontario $110,000 to $250,000 + Vehicle, Benefits, RRSP/DPSP and Bonus Potential
IPG Workforce Solutions is currently partnering with a well-established heavy civil construction company seeking a Senior Estimator / Project Manager to join their team in Stouffville.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced civil construction professional who enjoys being involved from tendering and estimating through to project execution and closeout. The role offers significant responsibility, strong earning potential, and the chance to work on a variety of municipal and infrastructure projects across Southern Ontario.
The role offers exposure to:
- Preparing detailed estimates, tenders, and quotations
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements
- Heavy civil, roadwork, sewer, watermain, earthworks, bridge, demolition, and site remediation projects
- Managing awarded projects through scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and closeout
- Working closely with senior management, site teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and supporting corrective action when needed
- Building strong relationships with engineers, owners, municipalities, and project stakeholders

Ideal background:
- 10+ years of estimating experience, ideally in civil construction
- Strong experience with heavy civil, municipal infrastructure, roadwork, earthworks, sewer, watermain, bridge, demolition, or site works projects
- Experience managing projects from tendering through execution and completion
- Strong ability to read drawings, specifications, scopes, and tender documents
- Comfortable preparing accurate estimates, budgets, tenders, and quotations
- Experience with SharpeSoft or similar estimating software is considered an asset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Valid Ontario driver’s license in good standing
