About the role

General Help

ARAMARK is looking for housekeeping employees for Bishop's University's food service department.

Position: General Maintenance Help

Location: Bishop's University (2600 Rue Collège, Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 1Z7)

Salary: $17.00

Schedule: Full-time, part-time, day, evening, and night shifts, to be discussed during the interview

Start date: Immediately 2025

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote the safety and health of others
  • Cleans assigned areas in accordance with Aramark and customer standards and requirements.
  • Clean counters and surrounding areas of the workplace, as well as sweep and mop the service area, kitchen, and around the workstation
  • Properly maintain housekeeping equipment
  • Housekeeping tasks
  • Clean tables
  • Other tasks assigned by the manager

Qualifications

  • Must be able to follow safety procedures and basic precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Must be organized, courteous, sociable, diligent, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to respond to operational needs.

The final candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where required, a vulnerable sector criminal background check. Your employment with us will be conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
