About the role
Our client, a respected national organization headquartered in Toronto, is seeking a Payroll Compliance Specialist.
This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your payroll expertise in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Location: Toronto (Hybrid)
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + generous performance-based bonuses

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Providing payroll knowledge, support, and training on Canadian payroll legislation Maintaining government contacts and agencies and analyzing legislation Updating payroll information for professional standards and programs Supporting the development of best practices and website resources Contributing to articles, discussion papers, and legislative analysis Assisting with any additional duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong communication skills PCP or PLP designation 5+ years of payroll processing experience College and/or University Degree in a related field Extensive knowledge of multi-jurisdictional payroll and legislation Superior working knowledge of MS Office
