We are currently seeking an Audit and Operational Support Manager, Healthcare Parking to join our Impark health team and support healthcare parking operations. This role involves managing the audit program and providing operational support for healthcare parking locations across the Lower Mainland to enhance safety and customer experience. The ideal candidate has experience in parking operations, knowledge of auditing and quality assurance, and familiarity with healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational support for the Account Management team who oversee parking operations across Lower Mainland Health locations by communicating with clients in a professional manner and providing the necessary assistance to provide an elevated level of service to support the parking contract. Oversee the Health Audit program to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies related to parking operations and revenue management. Ensure industry best practice standards and regulatory requirements are in place with respect to parking operations, which includes leading the Health portfolio to obtain ISO certification on an annual basis. Conduct physical assessments to review the safety and operational conditions of parking facilities, including but not limited to landscaping, cleanliness, signage, surface construction, lighting, equipment, and security. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide suggestions. Coordinate action items for improvements and maintenance to ensure first-class facility standards. Conduct audits into different areas of the Health portfolio as required to ensure quality control, efficiency and adherence to policies and procedures. Develop parking management procedures and best practices standards to ensure adherence to operational processes and protocols. Support the implementation of new parking technologies, systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with clients, internal teams and key stakeholders to implement projects, new initiatives and/or new processes. Track and manage incident reports and damage claims, as well as correspond with clients and customers regarding safety, risk and liability. Conduct analytical reviews of KPI, data metrics, operational and financial reports for auditing and quality assurance purposes. Skills, Knowledge, Expertise and Requirenments
3+ years of experience in parking, property management, or service industry. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field is preferred. Knowledge or background in auditing, quality assurance and the ISO Certification process are an asset. Knowledge of healthcare facility operations and parking compliance standards are an advantage. Knowledge of parking management systems is an advantage. Superior organizational and time management with an ability to balance multiple projects and strong attention to detail, working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze a situation or issue, determine options and select the most effective solution in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to plan and organize workloads by establishing priorities and respecting deadlines, as well as the flexibility to accommodate unexpected situations. Ability to work independently, in a team, and meet deadlines. Excellent MS Office computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive to healthcare sites. Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws (CAN) Must be authorized to work in the Canada and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by law
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working on a computer. Ability to drive and walk for extended periods of time when conducting physical site assessments. Ability to perform heavy lifting of 30lbs or more.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard business hours. Regular visits to healthcare facilities and parking sites for physical site assessments and reviews. Required to travel to client locations and vendor meetings using personal vehicle (up to 30%). Exposure to outdoor conditions during site visits. Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
