About the Role

We are seeking a D365 Application Developer to join our team and support a critical migration project. The client has recently transitioned from DAX to Dynamics 365 (D365) and requires specialized expertise to migrate the Mine to Bar (MTB) module, an internally developed solution in DAX. This role offers the opportunity to work on a unique, high-impact project within a collaborative Scrum team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) using X++, .NET, and related Microsoft technologies. Collaborate with peers to understand business and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and implement integrations between D365 F&O and external systems, such as Azure services, Power Platform, and third-party APIs. Verify accuracy and completeness of solutions by preparing sample data and test plans. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, promotion, and deployment activities. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in customizations and integrations. Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing. Stay current with Microsoft service updates, best practices, and new features in the D365 ecosystem. Develop technical specifications for ERP systems development, design, and implementation. Coach, mentor, and train the organization to perform the above tasks.

Candidate Requirements

Must-Haves

5–10 years of hands-on development experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Cloud. Experience working in a multi-environment Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) role (DEV, QA, PreProd, PROD). Proficiency in X++ and Visual Studio. Ability to lead technical design decisions and code architecture.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with extensions, customizations, and integrations in D365 F&O. Familiarity with Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps, code branches, pipelines, and version control systems. Understanding of business uses of D365 F&O modules, such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Procurement. Experience with Agile methodologies (a plus). Strong soft skills and the ability to work autonomously.
