About the role

The site superintendent will oversee the construction process and will be responsible for overall construction activities within the established design, budget and scheduling guidelines. This includes planning and scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling activities on the construction site.

Our client is an established ICI General Contractor that is focused business development, project development, estimating and construction. They simply exceed predictions by delivering their promises, on time and budget.

Description

  • Plan, schedule, organize, direct and control construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
  • Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
  • Oversee day-to-day field activities
  • Supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff
  • Conduct employee orientations and safety meetings

Profile

  • 5-10+ years of local Canadian construction experience preferred as a Site Supervisor on ICI projects, specifically Retail, Commercial renovations and new builds
  • Experience in completing renovations and new builds up to $10-$20 million in value

Job Offer
