City of Langford Receptionist

If so, the City of Langford invites you to apply for a temporary Receptionist position with the Administration department!
As our Receptionist, you are the first point of contact at City Hall to the general public. Along with greeting and assisting the public, you will also pass inquiries on to the appropriate departments, operate the municipal switchboard, process incoming mail, and maintain office supplies. Our ideal candidate provides outstanding customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
Qualifications for this position include:

Completion of Grade 12 (or equivalent GED) and two (2) years’ administrative experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

Current First Aid Level II or willingness to obtain

Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Strong writing skills with working knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation.

A team player with a strong work ethic

A sense of humour, with the ability to take your work seriously but not yourself
