Service Clerk, Emergency Mental Health & Addiction Services (EMHAS)

As a Service Clerk, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. Hours of Work: part time 17.5 hours variety of shifts (every other weekend 12 hour shifts 0800-2000 and evening shifts 1800-2200)
Internal applications for positions within a bargaining unit must be received within 7 days of this position being posted to have seniority considered.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide office support to the clinical areas with duties related to clerical, reception, scheduling, timekeeping and clinical records functions
- Process payroll systems and prepare summary reports as requested
- Interact with patients, staff, visitors and volunteers in the specific patient care environment
What we’re looking for:
- Secondary School Diploma
- Six months’ clerical experience in a unionized environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Knowledge of ONA and UFCW contracts is an asset
- Knowledge of Hospital and Service policies
- Computer skills and experience related to Kronos and Word
- Network applications experience preferred
- Keyboarding skills required
- Evidence of good work and attendance record
- Commitment to working within Homewood’s Health & Safety Standards
