About the role
The Program Coordinator in our manufacturing precision company is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing complex manufacturing projects to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and operational efficiency. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project schedules and resources, and ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety protocols. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that customer requirements are met with precision and excellence.
Responsibilities

Accountable to management and to the customer for timely delivery of program/contractual deliverables such as but not limited to status, expected complete dates and quote support.

Responsible to follow up with internal production and external suppliers on all work in progress

Responsible for vendor PO placement and follow up to ensure on time delivery as per lead time as well as customer need date and to ensure quality standards are upheld

Establish communication and maintain overall day to day business relationship with customers and suppliers through frequent communication at all levels as deemed necessary Work with a diverse team in cross functional environment to ensure progress of product flow and to be able to facilitate and/or provide ongoing feedback to the customer

Facilitate communication and reporting between project teams and senior management.

Manage customer PO scheduling changes and work hand in hand with shop scheduler

Follow all applicable quality policy and procedures as per Quality Manuals

Follow all safety rules and regulations

Work with diverse team in cross functional environment to ensure progress of product flow and to be able to facilitate and /or provide ongoing feedback to the customer.

Remain abreast of industry changes and new technology, equipment, systems etc. as they relate to improving the key operations
Experience, Education and Skill Requirements
- BS degree in Business Management (Sales, Marketing, International trade, Public Relations)
- Experience with ERP/MRP software and Epicor.
- Proven experience in program coordination, project management, or related roles within military or defense sectors.
- Combination of 1 to 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Procurement and/or Program/Project Management
- Experience in Operation and manufacturing is a must
- Ability to work under time pressures and flexibility to adjust to sudden work patterns or schedules.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced and fluid environment and is able to think on their toes
- Strong team player, recognized for leadership and creativity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership skills particularly in, creating possibilities, organizational change, consistently delivering great performance and managing people for success
- Ability to influence without direct control of resources
- Excellent organization skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative)
