About the role

The HR Analyst plays a key role in turning people data into meaningful insights that help the business understand its workforce and make informed decisions.
This role supports People & Culture by translating people data into clear, accurate, and actionable reporting across areas such as compensation, workforce planning, and organizational analytics. The HR Analyst partners with teams across People & Culture, Finance, Communications, IT, and the business to ensure workforce data is reliable, consistent, and communicated effectively.

How You’ll Add Value

People Data & Reporting

  • Run scheduled and ad hoc reports from HRIS, and other systems, ensuring data is accurate and reliable
  • Develop dashboards and reports that translate workforce data into clear, actionable insights for leaders
  • Leverage HRIS and LMS data to track training completion for gap analysis and compliance requirements
  • Establish and monitor key workforce metrics(e.g., headcount, turnover, structure, labour costs) to inform decision-making
  • Analyze workforce segments (e.g., critical roles) to support talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning

Compensation & Job Architecture

  • Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure competitiveness and internal consistency
  • Support the development and ongoing evolution of compensation programs and frameworks
  • Lead annual compensation modeling and support pay alignment reviews
  • Monitor internal pay relationships, including pay equity and consistency across roles

Data Governance & Process Improvement

  • Support data governance practices, including data quality, standardized definitions, and report validation
  • Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes, to support automation and scalability
  • Support analytics related projects to enhance workforce insights and process improvements or automation

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or business intelligence roles; exposure to HR or people data is an asset
  • Experience working with an HRIS platform (ADPWorkforce Now is preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
