The Role
We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist who is passionate about delivering an exceptional experience to team members when interacting with the IT department. This role involves providing support for both desktop hardware and application infrastructure at the head office and across various locations within the Lower Mainland.
What You’ll Do
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for software, network, and server connectivity issues on desktops and other end-user devices.
- Participate in IT-led initiatives, including system installations and upgrades, desktop builds, configurations, and end-user related projects.
- Maintain service levels for the firm’s user base by following established IT Service Management (ITSM) systems, procedures, and policies.
- Deliver onsite technical support as scheduled, across the firm’s offices throughout the Lower Mainland.
What You Bring

Education and Experience: A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Alternatively, candidates with up to two years of relevant experience—particularly in technical support or client service roles involving desktops, laptops, and mobile devices—will also be considered.

Skills: Basic understanding of networking and Wi-Fi principals; security practices such as password management, patching, antivirus and anti malware solutions; commercial ticketing systems; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to lift up to 30lb of computer equipment (desktops, monitors, printers etc.). A valid BC driver’s license is preferred.
