Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Assist with medication intake, inventory management, and restocking to ensure the pharmacy and clinic is well-equipped at all times.
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, processing prescriptions, and supporting medication administration protocols.
- Maintain thorough documentation of medication records, patient interactions, and pharmacy activities in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Support critical care and acute care units by understanding medical terminology and assisting with specialized pharmacy tasks related to patient care.
- Follow strict safety protocols for aseptic procedures, medication handling, and infection control to ensure patient safety at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth medication distribution and support patient care initiatives.
Qualifications
- Prior minimum two years experience as a pharmacy technician experience and experience with Kroll would be preferable
- Demonstrated commitment to patient service and patient care excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments within acute care settings.
