What We Need Reporting to the General Manager, the main responsibility of the Purchasing Manager is to supervise the purchasing activities within the spa and ensure the proper execution of all purchasing functions in accordance with product design specifications. In addition, it is his/her responsibility to direct and assist in inventory management.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement purchasing and inventory processes and systems, including RFP templates and purchasing standards;
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring that we have a reliable and cost effective network;
- Effectively represent the company's interests in relationships with suppliers and distributors;
- Collaborate with our internal customers to implement appropriate initiatives to improve the company's profitability;
- Manage and control inventory in all departments;
- Recommend and implement appropriate financial controls to minimize investments and losses;
- Integrate, maintain and defend product specifications as communicated by the Corporate Design team and participate in specification analysis and options, under the guidance of the Corporate Procurement Director, to enable economies of scale across all Groupe Nordik companies.
- Performs all other related duties.
Profile needed What is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position
- University or College degree in purchasing management;
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience in procurement, with no less than 3 years in a related leadership role;
- Good team management, project management and organizational skills;
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to negotiate effectively;
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to step in directly when needed, take ownership as the lead, and apply strong analytical thinking;
- Ability to recognize new opportunities;
- Strong sense of customer satisfaction;
- Ability to develop good relationships with suppliers;
- Strong Excel skills;
- Knowledge of SAGE 300 and Norming would be an asset;
When You will work a varying schedule which requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays
