Instructor – Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (Mandarin Program) Location: Vancouver Career College – Burnaby Campus
Schedule: Part-Time
Compensation: $36–$40/hour

About The Role Vancouver Career College is seeking a passionate and qualified instructor to join our Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) program, delivered in Mandarin . This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for a licensed practitioner who is eager to share their expertise, mentor future TCM professionals, and contribute to the growth of this traditional yet evolving field.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction aligned with program curriculum and learning objectives.
- Evaluate student knowledge, skills, and competencies fairly and consistently while providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the creation and enhancement of instructional materials and lesson plans.
- Mentor students in both academic and clinical contexts, helping them develop confidence and professional competence.
- Participate in faculty meetings, program initiatives, and campus activities to strengthen the learning community.
- Supervise and review student performance during practicum and/or clinical placements to ensure safe and effective practice.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized university or college.
- Current license as R. Ac., R. TCM.P, or Dr. TCM with the CCHPBC.
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in acupuncture and/or TCM practice.
- Fluency in Mandarin (primary language of instruction).
- Proficiency in English
