Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Programme Manager) in the Academic Liaison Office of the Registry (Ref: 533991) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)

The Academic Liaison Office, which includes International Affairs Office, Mainland Affairs Office and HKU Summer Institute, is dedicated to promoting academic exchanges and fostering collaboration with Mainland and overseas institutions. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as we grow.

Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree, preferably with at least 5 years' work experience in marketing or the tertiary education sector. They should have excellent communication skills, including a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); outstanding leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills; a strong sense of responsibility; and the ability to work under pressure. A commitment to quality and accountability, as well as readiness to embrace new challenges, is essential.

The appointee will oversee the marketing initiatives of summer programmes for both undergraduate and secondary school students. He/she will be responsible for supervising a marketing team, developing and implementing strategic campaigns to promote the Summer Institute’s brand and programmes, planning and organising outreach activities and events, and performing any other duties as assigned by the Office Head. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Occasional travelling may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
