Your future role
- Plan, organize and oversee warehouse activities to ensure all orders are shipped in a timely manner and to meet the needs and expectations of the customers
- Maintain an organized warehouse to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure that the company meets all required legislative regulations with regards to the storage and transportation of dangerous goods
- Make sure that healthy and safe conditions are upheld and that the premises are safe and all equipment is in working order and safe to operate
- Plan work schedules, assign work and manage team members
- Make sure team members are trained as to the company’s mission, policies and quality standards
- Ensure the workforce at the warehouse is effective and efficient in their assigned tasks
Required skills
- 5 years of multi-team management in manufacturing or distribution setting
- Good knowledge of best practices in distribution within a manufacturing company
- Ability to use JDE or other ERP systems involving distribution modules
- Health and safety mindset to ensure compliance in daily operations
- Excellent leadership and mobilization skills
- Attention to details and rigor
- Language skills: bilinguals in French and English — an asset
