How you create impact

You will perform multiple warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of the distribution center such as receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will work Monday - Friday, 6:30a - 3:00p or 7:30a - 4:00p and will be paid weekly at $20.00 per hour.

  • Follow standard warehouse practices and work instructions required to maintain high levels of inventory and location accuracy. Documents and identifies all discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor or team lead.
  • Accurately complete routine documentation, such as pick sheets, manifests, and unload lists.
  • Perform a variety of physically demanding general labor duties according to standard work instructions, such as manually loading and unloading goods from a trailer.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in the execution of standard warehousing processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, checking and loading customer orders and products.
  • Participates in process-specific training and adheres to all work instructions and guidelines established by KN to comply with regulatory standards such as ISO and GxP.
  • Demonstrates and maintains a skill set capable of operating a variety of equipment used in a traditional warehouse environment. Examples include but are not limited to: scanners, computers, scales, pallet jacks and a variety of motorized material handling equipment such as forklifts, clamps, power jacks, pickers and reach trucks.
  • Demonstrates and maintains professional interpersonal skills when dealing with internal and external personnel.• Follows all company safety, security and housekeeping protocols. Respects customer and company property and equipment.
  • Proactive in accident & incident prevention and fills out these reports promptly and accurately when required.
  • Strives to increase personal knowledge and shares work knowledge with less experienced staff.
  • Employee maintains an acceptable availability for work record. (Absenteeism and lates)
  • Availability to work periodic overtime and a variety of shifts in order to meet the requirements of the operation.

What we would like you to bring

  • 2 years' experience operating Material Handling Equipment
  • Must be able to lift up to 70lbs
  • Can walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Basic math skills

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
