We're Hiring: Administrative Assistant (Intermediate)
📍 Location: Edmonton, Alberta (100% Onsite) 🕒 Job Type: Contract 📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (Alberta Time)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant (Intermediate) to provide administrative support in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role involves managing information requests, maintaining electronic records, preparing correspondence, coordinating documentation, and ensuring tasks are completed within established timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and process incoming information requests. Prepare acknowledgment letters, correspondence, and other communications. Create, organize, and maintain electronic files and administrative records. Coordinate document collection with internal teams. Track requests and ensure deadlines are met. Convert documents to PDF and upload files for processing. Process application fees, refunds, and maintain payment records. Maintain records management systems and shared folders. Respond to general inquiries and distribute office correspondence. Perform general administrative and clerical duties. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support daily operations.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of administrative experience. Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Outlook (email, calendar, and task management). Minimum 2 years of experience working in a ticketing, request management, or workflow-driven environment. Minimum 2 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Records Management. Experience securely exchanging electronic documents with internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience in an administrative support role. Government or Public Sector experience is an asset.
