LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN), PRIMARY CARE

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the Terrace Health Unit.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Primary Care Team Lead or designate, the Primary Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
The Primary Care LPN functions as a member of the interprofessional team and applies best practice to provide competent, safe, and ethical care for clients in settings such as physician practices, homes, schools, and communities. Provides care according to the primary care plan developed with the interprofessional team and the client’s personal goals of care. Performs assessments, plans, implements and provides personal and nursing care to clients.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 08:15 to 16:45

These services are provided through inpatient, ambulatory and community-based programs.
Northern Health's programs and services are split into two different streams - acute and sub-acute. This structure is designed to assist services to be integrated across our campuses and ensure that patients have access to the best healthcare within the most efficient time frame.
