Summary:
Canderel Group is seeking a driven and collaborative Coordinator, Development to assist in development planning of new real estate development projects throughout the Greater Montreal Area. This opportunity provides exposure to the entire development cycle and decision process of a growing project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Participate with the team on predevelopment and development phases for mixed-use (predominantly residential) projects across the Greater Montreal Area;
- Participate in day-to-day project management activities;
- Follow-up on all development coordination elements, escalating where necessary;
- Prepare regular project reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), minutes as well as recommendation memos to project partners;
- Process and code invoices;
- Coordinate communications and meetings between internal and external project stakeholders;
- Coordinate meetings, both on-site and virtual;
- Accurately and appropriately file documents, correspondence and invoices;
- Present a positive and professional image of the organization when interacting with employees, clients/customers, visitors, and other external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- 2-year experience in a similar role in residential real estate development;
- Graduate degree in relevant field would be considered an asset (architecture, urban planning, geography/land development etc.)
- Excellent presentation skills both virtually and in live conference;
- Comfortable in a high volume, dynamic, fast-paced environment, without sacrificing attention to detail;
- Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships;
- Motivated by new challenges and prospects;
- Superior communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal;
- Highly collaborative and self-motivated; promoting joint accountability with the team through the development and planning process;
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). MS Project is an asset.
