About the role

Corporate Sales Manager

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Montreal Airport is looking for an energetic, hardworking, and results-driven Corporate Sales Manager.

  • Responsible for corporate and transient markets.
  • Accountable to meet targets/objectives set by higher management.
  • Develop and negotiate bookings through telephone inquiries, trade shows, and sales trips.
  • As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning, and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel.
  • Effectively communicate all relevant sales information to the appropriate departments on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that the hotel sales and marketing plans are incorporated into daily sales activities.
  • Member of the manager on duty program.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position within a hotel.
  • Hotel Management degree an asset.
  • Traveling required.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Self-starter, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work within deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Fluently bilingual (French and English)
  • Computer literate and proficient in Excel, Windows, Delphi & OnQ

Other:

  • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.
  • Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions, and training
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances, are utilized frequently.
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities are often used.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, etc.
  • May require a valid Driver’s License.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
