As part of our ERP Modernization and Business Transformation, we are implementing a best-in-class Oracle ERP solution and seeking a highly skilled Oracle ERP Compliance & Security Specialist to support Oracle Risk Management Cloud applications and ERP Security..

About the role

The Oracle ERP Compliance & Security Specialist will play a key role in ensuring financial reporting compliance, security governance, and enterprise risk controls. Leveraging Oracle Risk Management Cloud and Oracle ERP Security tools, the specialist will design, implement, and maintain compliance and security frameworks while collaborating with stakeholders to manage risk, enforce policies, and optimize licensing.

Reporting to the ERP Workstream Lead – ERM, Internal Control, and GRC, this role is responsible for escalating relevant issues to operational and working teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting Compliance (FRC):

  • FRC Framework Development: Design and implement robust financial reporting compliance (FRC) frameworks within Oracle Risk Management Cloud to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with financial reporting using Oracle Risk Management Cloud tools.
  • Control Implementation: Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Audit Support: Provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring that necessary documentation and controls are in place.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance, IT, and other departments to ensure integrated FRC processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review, update and optimize FRC processes to adapt to changing regulations and business needs.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of FRC practices across the organization

Access & Security Governance:

  • Role-Based Security (RBAC): Design, configure, and monitor security roles and responsibilities within Oracle ERP to enforce the principle of least privilege.
  • Segregation of Duties (SoD): Identify, assess, and monitor SoD conflicts; design remediation and mitigating controls.
  • Sensitive Security (SA): Manage, restrict, and monitor sensitive and privileged security roles across ERP functions.
  • Licensing Optimization: Monitor and optimize license usage, ensuring efficient entitlement management and cost control.
  • Authentication & Authorization: Implement and support MFA and SSO to secure ERP access and improve user experience.
  • Security Monitoring & Reporting: Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to continuously monitor ERP security and compliance controls.
  • Compliance Alignment: Ensure ERP security policies and practices align with COSO, audit, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Certifications:

  • Certification such as Oracle Risk Management Cloud (preferred); Oracle ERP Security, IAM, or governance certifications are an asset..

Experience:

  • Proven experience in FRC within Oracle environments, particularly with Oracle Risk Management Cloud.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial reporting compliance processes and controls.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Oracle Risk Management Cloud applications and Oracle ERP Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting processes and controls.
  • Experience with risk assessment and data analysis tools within Oracle Risk Management Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP security controls, role design, and compliance monitoring.
  • Solid analytical skills for risk assessment, SoD analysis, and audit reporting.

Other Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing FRC and ERP Security solutions on Oracle Risk Management Cloud applications.
  • Experience working in an ERP environment SAP, Oracle and Workday experience will be considered an asset.
  • Experience in large organizations
  • Must possess a high degree of creativity, initiative and motivation in developing solutions to problems of a complex nature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and sound judgment.
