Technician, Quality Control (Brimich 7018- Nights)
About the role
Position Summary... This role ensures fresh produce and meat entering perishable distribution centers meet quality and regulatory requirements as well as company standards. What you'll do... This role may involve accurate and efficient inspection of incoming shipments of produce and meat to ensure they meet quality and labeling specifications. The role also conducts routine inspections of staple stock items to review product quality and conformance standards. Decisions to accept or reject products are based on inspection results.
The role includes timely reporting and communication of any deficiencies on inbound quality and/or compliance to cross-functional team members. It may also require maintaining and updating produce and meat specifications as needed. Inspection of outbound loads is essential to ensure they are built to prevent product damage.
Monitoring cold chain (temperature) compliance of inbound and outbound products is crucial to ensure adherence to standards. Additionally, the role may participate in special projects and shelf-life studies as part of continuous improvement opportunities. The pay range for this position is $53,600.00 - $67,000.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience. L’échelle salariale pour ce poste est de 53,600.00 à 67,000.00.
