We Invite Applications For The Position Of
- We invite applications for the position of Supervision Assistant, 4 hours a week, Monday through Thursday. Hours will be worked during the school lunch hour. The current rate of pay is $20.22 per hour plus 16.3% in lieu of benefits.
Qualifications Grade 12 education supplemented by previous experience working with children's groups; basic First Aid knowledge; ability to communicate and work effectively with students and staff; personality and health appropriate to the position; ability to work independently and as a member of a team; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Duties/Responsibilities Duties are performed under the supervision of the Principal, Vice Principal or designate; supervises student activities and maintains order on school premises; administers simple aid of a non-educational nature to students; performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor; follows proper work procedures, observes all regulations pertinent to the work, maintains a good working relationships with other employees and cooperates in maintaining a healthy learning and working environment.

Comox Valley Schools (SD71) is a positive, progressive and growing school district situated on the east coast of Vancouver Island on the traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation. Located within the Valley are the municipalities we serve, City of Courtenay, the Town of Comox, Village of Cumberland and the Regional District; each providing their own unique services and community cultures.
