About the role

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon are seeking an Administrative Assistant for their client in Winnipeg for an immediate opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in office administration and accounting who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy office.

As the first point of contact for clients and customers, you will represent the organization with professionalism and ensure every interaction leaves a positive impression. You'll also play an important role in accounts receivable, collections, and general administrative support.

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and visitors while providing exceptional customer service. Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism. Perform a variety of administrative duties to support daily office operations. Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and maintain customer records. Follow up on overdue invoices and contact customers regarding outstanding accounts. Prepare and distribute invoices and account statements. Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and account information. Maintain accurate files and documentation with a high level of attention to detail. Support the accounting team with additional administrative and financial tasks as required.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of office administration and accounting experience. Strong accounts receivable and collections experience. Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Professional communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with corporate clients. Exceptional customer service and a polished, professional phone manner. Resourceful, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience working with accounting software is considered an asset.
