The role we are offering you:
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to perform software development tasks on small to medium sized projects.
Project work may span the entire software engineering discipline, such as requirements analysis, design, development, and testing. Detailed activities may include designing, coding, and testing software in VBA or other languages (such as C++, C#, Java); documenting software; debugging software; and conducting research in topics related to analytics, development, and test automation.
Our ideal candidate has:

A base understanding of programming languages in C, C++, C#, VBA, Java, or SQL;

Enjoys working in small teams and writing documentation and reports;
-
A strong work ethic, and is interested in learning new skills.
Preferred Education
a STEM program working towards a bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics, in their 3rd or 4th year
The following additional qualifications also apply:
Must be able to hold Controlled Goods and Enhanced Reliability security clearance with the Government of Canada
Location of the internship is in Ottawa
Internship will be carried out in person

All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 12 weeks.
