About the Role
We’re looking for someone who canown the shipping and logistics side of the operation.
This role is not just sitting at a desk — you need to be comfortablein the warehouse, in the cooler, and on the computer. You’ll be coordinating shipments, checking product, working with drivers, and making sure everything leaves properly.
At the end of the day, your job is simple:
make sure the right product goes out, on time, in good condition, with no mistakes.
**What You’ll Be Responsible /**Key Responsibilities
Shipping, Logistics & Coordination
- Schedule trucks and manage delivery timelines with carriers
- Communicate clearly with drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth pickups and deliveries
- Build and organize loads safely while maximizing trailer space
- Ensure proper use of load bars and safe transport practices
Inventory, Orders & Systems
- Verify orders (SKUs, quantities, lot codes) before shipment
- Maintain inventory accuracy and proper FIFO rotation
- Review daily shipping reports and weekly pallet reports
- Enter shipments into the system and complete all required documentation (BOLs, packing lists, logs)
- Use ERP systems, scanners, and Excel for tracking and reporting
Product Quality & Warehouse Operations
- Monitor cooler and pulp temperatures to maintain cold chain integrity
- Ensure product quality standards are met before shipment
- Organize, rotate, and restack product as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area
Safety & General Support

Complete forklift checklists and support overall safety compliance

Participate in safety meetings and follow company policies

Assist with minor troubleshooting on the packing/grading line when needed
Skills & Work Style
- Strong attention to detail — able to catch errors before they leave the facility
- Organized and able to manage multiple shipments and priorities at once
- Clear communicator with drivers, carriers, and internal teams
- Problem solver who can address issues quickly without constant direction
- Takes ownership and follows through on responsibilities
- Able to work independently while contributing to the team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Technical Skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with inventory systems, ERP software, and barcode scanning
- Good working knowledge of shipping documentation and processes
Experience & Requirements

1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics

High School Diploma required

Forklift experience required (certification is an asset)

Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Able to lift 30+ lbs
