The Director, Business Resilience & Corporate Services is accountable for enterprise incident response and business continuity, ensuring ENMAX’s ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, and recover from high consequence events.
This critical role provides enterprise leadership for crisis management, resilience maturity, and continuity planning, while also overseeing Physical Security and Facilities Management to protect critical assets and enable safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations across corporate offices and operational sites, including substations.
Major Responsibilities Enterprise Incident Response & Business Continuity
- Design and execute an enterprise incident response and business continuity roadmap aligned to enterprise risk expectations.
- Establish and mature an enterprise incident and crisis management framework.
- Establish enterprise standards for preparedness, response, and recovery across all business segments.
- Lead enterprise-wide exercises, scenario testing, and after-action improvement processes.
- Provide regular executive and board level visibility into enterprise resilience risks, readiness, and recovery capability.
Physical Security
- Develop and implement an enterprise physical security strategy.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and oversee security hardening across critical infrastructure and corporate facilities.
- Strengthen perimeter protection, access control, and surveillance systems.
- Integrate physical security with enterprise risk and cyber security programs.
Facilities Management
- Oversee cost-effective maintenance and lifecycle management of buildings and substations.
- Ensure high service levels for office services (employee support, vendor and cafeteria management).
- Optimize space utilization across corporate and operational facilities.
- Drive operational efficiency and disciplined capital planning.
Education Required
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
Qualifications & Experience
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience.
- Proven experience establishing governance, reporting, and performance metrics across a portfolio.
- Strong background in security, facilities, or critical infrastructure environments desired.
- Experience with the planning, development, and optimization of contracted service providers.
- Strategic thinker with operational credibility who has experience breaking down silos and increasing alignment across business segments.
- Ability to manage operating and capital budgets with disciplined risk-based prioritization.

- Ability to communicate and act with tact, integrity, and emotional intelligence
- Ability to lead the implementation and sustainment of programs across the enterprise

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) workforce with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB) . You will have the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays and will be in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
