What is the opportunity?
RBC Card Operations and Supplier Services is hiring a Cards Supplier Lead. You will be responsible for analysis, facilitation, documentation, testing and support of Credit Cards Supplier Systems and related interfaces for assigned projects, assignments and initiatives. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will also support and mentor Cards Supplier Analysts (CSA) on the day to day deliverables prior to review and approval by Senior Manager for small to large-scale projects/initiatives.
Please note: Applicants who live in Montreal area are welcome to apply. Please note that this is an in-office role with a minimum of 4 days in office per week.
What will you do?
- Work in a large team environment and lead complex projects, while managing the planning, analysis, documentation and testing phases in addition to providing direction to Cards Supplier Analysts
- Triage and resolve escalations/incidents at first point of contact and/or escalate issues, risks and technology related problems
- Lead complex projects and, in partnership with our Cards Supplier QA team, support the User Acceptance and Post Implementation Testing process, providing direction to CSAs through the planning, analysis, documentation and testing phases
- Investigate, analyze and recommend system changes or enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness, increase revenue streams and/or generate cost savings
- Document and obtain sign-offs of high quality requirements, requests and system change requests specific to new development, initiative or maintenance requests for the Cards Supplier Systems
- Facilitate project/initiative “walkthroughs” with key stakeholders ensuring understanding and appropriate sign off is obtained
- Lead the functional testing & components of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Post Implementation Verification (PIV) phases for all assigned projects documenting, executing and reporting; Functional Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Execution Summary

Must-have
- Cards experience
- Excellent analytical mindset & problem solving skills
- Ability to accurately define problems, identify relevant factors and objectively consider alternatives and anticipate impact of possible solutions
- Aptitude for working with complex technical systems, clarifying requirements and understanding technical solutions with an end-to-end mindset
- High level of initiative, proactive, motivated and able to influence change, executing with a sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills with a high degree of organizational awareness
- Experienced in working with TSYS systems, TS2 operating system and options, TLP and TCS
Nice to have
- Technologically self-sufficient, with experience using MS Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint
- Awareness of RBC Internal systems
