Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various cottage rental and residential spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals committed to high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas
• Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines at all times
• Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness throughout the shift
• Clean linens for rental properties and make beds appropriately, along with restocking supplies
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or residential cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Must have own transportation and own vehicle
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
