We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service and a clean, comfortable stay.
- Inspect and clean guest rooms and facilities to meet cleanliness and safety guidelines.
- Properly and safely use cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment, including vacuums, mops, scrubbers, and laundry machines.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as company policies.
- Maintain professionalism in communication and interactions with guests and colleagues.
- Support cost control efforts through energy conservation and proper use of materials and equipment.
- Contribute to the security and safety of guests, staff, and hotel assets by reporting suspicious activity and handling keys responsibly.
- Represent the hotel positively and uphold its mission and values.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A keen eye for detail is essential for maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles.
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- WHMIS certification is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable walking up and down stairs multiple times during the scheduled shift.
