About the role

Reporting to the National Commercial Fleet Sales Manager, the RAM Professional & Commercial Account Manager is a key player in a team environment based in Vancouver with responsibility to manage and grow a portfolio of accounts in support of monthly and yearly sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities Of The Position Include

  • Selling and marketing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM, specifically Ram Professional brand vehicles to fleet clientele to exceed sales and market share goals
  • Manage a growing portfolio of Commercial, Daily Rental, and Government fleet accounts who acquire vehicles for their unique business purposes
  • Partner with major fleet management companies and independent leasing companies in support of commercial sales and account satisfaction
  • Meet with clients to qualify fleet vehicle requirements and present unique solutions with Stellantis branded vehicles
  • Develop strong relationships with all accounts including FMC’s sales and account teams and dealers
  • Network to find new business prospects, including cold calling to develop conquest sales opportunities
  • Prepare RFP responses, product advantages, TCO models, and AutoQuote vehicle specifications to develop detailed account proposals
  • Secure Independent Daily Rental Account business to support sales business plan
  • Counsel and liaise with FCA dealers in support of fleet sales and goal attainment including supporting local and municipal government tenders.
  • Utilize and maintain account information, proposals, and related business activities in Salesforce
  • Assist with account transition to Electrification. Assist with EV readiness plans for fleet vehicle requirements and infrastructure needs
  • Travel as required to visit accounts and dealers in BC and Western provinces.

The salary range for this role is $98,500 - $125,000 per year.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Automotive Technology or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience with automotive background,
  • Proven track record of achieving breakthrough sales results
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge, including the full suite of Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com
  • Knowledge of Commercial RAM market, technical capabilities, vehicle upfit and specifying
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Must reside in market,
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Bilingual French / English
  • Automotive sales background with business-to-business experience
  • Knowledge of Commercial truck market, specification process and ‘fit for service’
  • Competency with Salesforce.com
