Business Development Manager – Industrial Construction
About the role
Summit Search Group has been retained by Top Grade Energy Services (TGES) on the recruitment of their Manager – Industrial Infrastructure. Top Grade Energy Services (TGES) is a Western Canada–based construction company specializing in pipeline and facility construction, maintenance, structural fabrication, and industrial services. Founded in 2022 by a leadership team with decades of shared experience, TGES delivers complex energy and infrastructure projects across Alberta and Saskatchewan with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and execution.
TGES is seeking an entrepreneurial and driven leader to establish and grow its Industrial Infrastructure operations in Saskatchewan. This is a newly created, high-impact role designed for a professional who can lead business development efforts, identify and secure new opportunities, and help build a scalable operational presence in the infrastructure market. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping strategy, developing client relationships, and supporting project execution as the business expands. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop growth from the ground up within a collaborative, fast-moving organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business development initiatives to expand TGES’ presence across industrial and infrastructure markets throughout Saskatchewan Identify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities with key clients (e.g., industrial, resource, and public-sector organizations) Develop and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging existing networks where possible Support estimating and proposal development, ensuring competitive and accurate project bids Oversee or contribute to project execution and delivery as new work is secured Collaborate with internal teams and sister company operations to deliver integrated, turnkey solutions
Qualifications
Proven experience in industrial or infrastructure construction, ideally with exposure to field construction, operations, and business development Demonstrated ability to generate new business and develop client relationships within Western Canada (Saskatchewan experience preferred) Strong understanding of project management, estimating, and construction execution
