Job Summary
The Executive Assistant to the Dean provides high-level administrative support to the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the Dean's calendar, including scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for the Dean.
- Serve as a liaison between the Dean and faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a higher education environment.
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
