About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Automation Field Technician who enjoys travel, solving technical challenges, and working directly with customers to commission, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, commission, and start up industrial equipment at customer sites Troubleshoot electrical, automation, mechanical, and control systems Support customers through maintenance, repairs, and technical problem-solving Train operators and maintenance teams on equipment operation and best practices Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to resolve field issues and improve products Prepare service reports and technical documentation Provide remote and on-site technical support across North America
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in industrial automation, field service, manufacturing, construction, or related industries Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, controls, and mechanical systems Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and industrial equipment Excellent customer service and communication skills Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently
