This is a geographical full-time, contingent position and the successful candidate will be eligible for an appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor (or higher depending on current academic rank) in the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, Max Rady College of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. There is an expected active participation in weekly rounds directed at the education of residents and medical students as well as supplementary weekly spine fellows rounds.

As an academic group, the successful candidate will be expected to both participate in and eventually lead specific research activities. To fulfill this metric, candidates with an advanced degree supporting research and/or education will be given preference.
