We are hiring for a Full-Time Smokehouse Clerk with a wage range of $15.00 - $18.00 at our location in Edmonton, AB. (Glenora location)
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing recipe ingredients for smoked products (bacon, jerky, pepperoni, sausage, etc.)
- Assist in the mixing, stuffing, hanging, smoking, and cooling of products
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
- Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Package and display smoked products for purchase
- Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience
What you Bring:
- Positive, can-do personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Experience in a smokery or butchery setting is an asset
