Metals Vault Operator: On behalf of our financial client, Procom is searching for a Metals Vault Operator for a 12-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Metals Vault Operator - Job Description: The Metals Vault Operator will be responsible for facilitating day-to-day vault operations and transactions for the BMO Precious Metals Vault. The role involves both physical and non-physical movements within the vault operations and assisting with ad hoc projects as determined by the BMO Metals Vault Supervisor.

Metals Vault Operator - Responsibilities:

• Operate in the functional areas of receiving, shipping, secure storage/distribution of precious metals, and logistics.
• Interface with other business units to implement strategies and work towards business objectives.
• Complete physical movements and staging of incoming and outgoing products.
• Ensure compliance with BMO health and safety policies and government regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and maintain the integrity of controls.
• Provide inventory control management and perform daily vault balancing routines.
• Adhere to PM storage vault standard operating procedures, including end-of-day balancing processes and reconciliation.

Metals Vault Operator - Mandatory Skills:

• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Previous logistic experience desired.
• Knowledge of standard desktop applications (i.e., Excel) and department systems and applications.
• High analytical skills for reporting, balancing, and reconciliation.
• General knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
• Customer service driven.
• Quality orientation.

Metals Vault Operator – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Previous banking experience.
• Understanding of business units' risk and regulatory requirements.

Metals Vault Operator – Assignment Length: This is a 12-month contract position.
