Graham is actively recruiting for a Tax Analyst supporting the Corporate Services Division. Reporting to the Tax Director, the Tax Analyst is responsible for preparing and completing tax filings, handling all things tax-related under the Graham / Gvest / Gracorp umbrella, and maintaining a solid understanding of tax compliance, corporate returns, commodity tax returns, income tax, as well as cross-border tax implications

This is a permanent fulltime role with minimum 2-Days in our Corporate Office in Calgary.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

  • Lead operational accounting close activities (month end, quarter end, year end), including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry review, estimates, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise, particularly on revenue recognition, audit support, internal allocations, labour burden rates, and preparation of accounting memos and executive ready materials.
  • Own day to day Central Operations Accounting responsibilities, assuming full accountability during the maternity leave period and ensuring continuity post transition.
  • Drive process improvement and systems optimization, including adherence to documented processes, support of ERP enhancements (SAP preferred), and promotion of standardization and automation.
  • Act as a senior business partner and leader, collaborating closely with Operations, FP&A, and Corporate Finance while providing guidance and oversight to accounting staff as needed.

The Right Tools for the Job

  • Education: Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; construction, engineering, or project‑based environments strongly preferred
  • Software: Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred with advanced excel and Taxprep software.
  • Certifications: CPA Designation is required, Strong knowledge of ASPE / Canadian GAAP (IFRS exposure considered an asset)
