Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Water and Wastewater Operator Training Specialist to join our Canadian Water Business Unit. This role is responsible for delivering Arcadis’s operator training courses to participants in a classroom setting. The successful candidate will utilize their hands-on experience in water and wastewater operations, training, mentoring, and course development to enhance the effectiveness of our training offerings. This role is part-time as needed.
Role accountabilities:
The Water and Wastewater Operator Training Specialist will:
- Review and update training course materials for a variety of water and wastewater operations courses.
- Deliver in-person operator training courses to participants, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
- Support the training and operations management team with course delivery, feedback, and continuous improvement of training programs.
Experience and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will:
- Licensed Ontario water treatment or wastewater treatment operator (Class 4 license is an asset).
- Proven experience as an instructor in the field of water/wastewater operations.
- Demonstrated municipal water and wastewater operations management experience, including responsibilities for regulatory compliance, training, and staff management.

The salary range for this position is $56,000-84,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role. This roles is part-time as needed.
