You will work alongside experienced Journeypersons and Shop Foremen who lead with patience, respect, and technical credibility. We have built a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture that encourages learning, asking questions, and growing from experience.

Your development matters to us. We provide structured hands-on learning, OEM training, certifications, and in-house development designed to help you advance through your apprenticeship levels and prepare for Journeyman status.

The Role
Repair (Approx. 70%)
- Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on heavy duty trucks and equipment under the guidance of Journeypersons and Foremen
- Test vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and are operating properly
- Coordinate with Parts Technicians to ensure parts required for repairs are in stock or ordered
Problem Solving (Approx. 20%)
- Review repair concerns and work orders provided by Service Advisors
- Assist with diagnostics on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic systems using advanced diagnostic tools
- Learn to interpret results, document findings, and support repair timelines
Reporting & Training (Approx. 10%)
- Accurately track time and document all work performed
- Participate in continuous training and upskilling to advance through apprenticeship levels and stay current with evolving truck technology

- Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician (2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year)
- Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license is an asset
