Novarc Technologies is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Supervisor for a two-month contract. This role will support the production of our cobots as part of our expanding team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time;
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial, employee and vendor records;
- Compiling, analyzing and reporting financial information to management and government agencies;
- Setting and facilitating the achievement of department goals and objectives;
- Developing, implementing, improving and enforcing budgets, policies and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency;
- Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients, vendors and lenders;
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Post-secondary education in accounting.
- 2+ years of experience with NetSuite.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment with strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Google Suite products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to analyze information and processes.
- Motivation to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and adherence to company policies and current financial legislation.
- Experience with Tipalti is considered an asset.
