The Position: We are looking for a BC Certified Teacher to teach in-person at our Victoria Community Connections+ program location. Community Connections Plus (CC+) are in-person learning opportunities that are one full day per week for 30 weeks where students collaborate in a class setting with a home-education flavour with a focus on meaningful and hands-on learning activities. CC+ classes are led by BC certified teachers fully responsible for covering all CC+ course outcomes.
Socials, Science, and Art (Grades 8/9)
0.24 FTE, one day per week (Tuesday) on-site for 30 weeks at Elk Lake Baptist Church in Victoria, BC
2026-27 school year
Qualifications: BC Teacher Certification
Previous experience teaching relevant subjects
Previous experience teaching CC/CC+ is preferred
Ability to build relationships and work relationally with students, parents, coordinator and other team members
Flexible attitude towards adapting to students and situation
Demonstrate alignment with the following attitudes and attributes:

What we offer: Competitive Wage:$18,000-$20,500 for the school year, based on 0.24 FTE and depending on experience and certifications
Contractor model
Ability to combine position with other teaching opportunities within HCOS
