Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full time opportunity for a Coordinator Site Merchandising. This role can be based out of our offices in Richmond Street, Toronto & Vaughan, ON.
The E-commerce Site Merchandising Coordinator will be a part of helping Canadians stay one step ahead of their busy lives by managing the production of compelling content and product information for Voila by Sobeys. Reporting to the Voilà Site Merchandising Manager, the Site Merchandising Coordinator is an integral member of the Voilà E-commerce team, producing, curating and adapting content for the Voilà digital platforms. This role collaborates with the other members of the ecommerce team and vendor partners in producing, managing, and posting content to our website, and executing on our content strategy across the Voilà digital platforms.
Accountabilities
- Source, edit and organize digital assets. Potential coordination of photo and/or video shoots
- Review submitted content and prepare files for publication. Edit content for grammar and style
- Assist in reports for analytics and status reporting
- Basic HTML editing (text, urls)
- Review and process images in systems
- Contribute to process review and development
- Coordinate web content and product updates to support the execution of vendor program commitments and customer acquisition and retention campaigns
- Coordinate vendor content submissions
Knowledge & Skills
- Bilingual with French native language is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma / Certificate required in marketing, journalism or a related subject.
- Superior copywriting, editing and proofing skills to ensure accuracy and excellence.
- Strong project and time management skills with high standards of accuracy, organization and quality control. Proven ability to collaborate and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Analyzing existing and potential content for reuse. Make recommendations for new content or adjustments based on analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with vendors and internal teams. Must be comfortable with communicating with vendors.
- Intermediate photoshop. Editing, resizing, creating composite graphics.
- Intermediate photography and photo editing. Styled and product photography.
- Interviewing, research, writing and editing. Write content for web pages, emails, print materials.
- Experience with content management systems.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office – intermediate MS Excel required.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- PIM/STIBO Management Tool experience is an asset.
