About the role

Lippmann, a trusted partner to the aggregate, mining and recycling industries is looking for a Production Manager at its Keene, Ontario Manufacturing Facility. Lippmann is a business unit within MPP Global's multi-brand network (McCloskey, Lippmann, TESAB, Tedd Engineering, Screen Machine and Diamond Z).

Job Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will be accountable to lead, direct, and control the operations for a product line value stream to achieve the short and medium-term financial and operating objectives set by the overall corporate business plan.

The Production Manager is responsible planning, organizing, and controlling their production value stream(s), ensuring all machines are produced efficiently and in line with the production schedule.

Critical Success Factors:

Responsible for monitoring the quality, cost and production efficiency to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.

Set and monitor the performance of the production department against standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing efficiency, cost control in both production and products, reliability and availability, legal compliance, and health & safety targets.

Assess, develop, and implement a variety of operating policies and procedures (in conjunction with internal subject matter experts) to ensure that the site meets it current and future production targets and quality standards.

Allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity and manage costs.

Responsible for executing evaluations of possible investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, facilities upgrades or other assets that will enhance the site?s production capabilities and maintain the location.

Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of production supervisors and skilled labour or other professionals to ensure that the site meets its established targets and standards.

Provide leadership for the implementation, communication, and management of OH&S company standards, programs and policies in order to ensure compliance and due diligence with legislative requirements.

Lead and support the implementation of the ERP system (EPICOR) in partnership with the project team

Liaises with inside sales team to facilitate the smooth flow of information from Sales to Manufacturing.

Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:

University, College degree or technical trade, plus demonstrated leadership experience (5+ years) in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills ? ability to work with internal stakeholders to achieve strategic operational targets.

Ability to gather, analyze and interpret information and make recommendations for policy or procedure improvements

Proficient with standard office computer technology such as Microsoft Outlook & Teams, other Microsoft Office products and the Internet.
