About the role
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring optimum efficiency and compliance as set out in the site-specific Quality Management Plan, applicable codes, regulations, and client requirements.
What You’ll Do
Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to understand and implement quality control standards. Develop and execute site-specific Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Conduct receiving inspections of materials and verify compliance with project requirements and documentation standards. Coordinate and perform field inspections across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical construction activities. Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and inspection agencies to ensure quality requirements, testing, and documentation are completed and approved. Maintain accurate quality records, including ITPs, inspection reports, qualifications, RFIs, drawing revisions, and vendor data deliverables. Monitor and control measuring and testing equipment calibration and inventory records. Track worker qualifications and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures. Identify, document, and help resolve non-conformances while supporting corrective action and closeout activities. Participate in client and project meetings, communicate quality hold points, and maintain photographic documentation of project activities.
What You Bring
Post-secondary diploma in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working on multi-trade construction projects is considered an asset.Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, such as CSA W47.1/W59/S16, ASME B31.1/B31.3, CSA B51, CSA A23.1/S269.3, and ISO 9001:2015, is an asset. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required. Willingness to work away from home for extended periods, including camp-based assignments when required.

Salary range: $74,375 - $87,500. Salary will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capabilities.
