About the role
Location: Mississauga, ON
Working Arrangement : Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Perform various Electrical Engineering related activities including electronic/electrical (low power) circuit design & analysis, test procedure development and conduct testing, investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions, manage changes, prepare test reports
- Overall technical coordination within the engineering functions supporting hardware development to ensure that all customer requirements are met.
- Establish and maintain detailed technical plans, estimates and schedules; provide status to project engineering and management.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/activities with limited and shared resources.
- Hardware team focal for interfacing with other functional groups and the customer
- Lead technical design reviews with both internal & external customers
- Collaborate with the team in resolving technical problems with both internal and external customers; Investigate failures, identify root causes and permanent corrective action.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Strong experience in electronic circuit design
- Experienced with electrical/electronics design, analysis, simulation, build, test and support processes
- Python programming knowledge and/or Model based design knowledge is a definite asset
