Description
- Manage day-to-day operations on commercial and light industrial building construction sites.
- Supervise and coordinate on-site teams, subcontractors, and trades to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
- Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Resolve on-site challenges and provide solutions to maintain project timelines.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and management teams.

Profile
A successful Site Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience in commercial and light industrial building construction, specifically with complex renovation / retrofits involving demolition components and occupied commercial space
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong software application skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
