Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation . Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Prepare and submit reports. Prepare food order summaries for chef. Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys. Establish work schedules. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers. Order supplies and equipment. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Clean kitchen and work areas. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
