Job Duties
- Contribute to SOAR automation playbook development life cycle including test and release
- Set up and maintain SOC technologies such as FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM and FortiSOAR for daily operations
- Monitor SOC technologies and infrastructure for availability and security
- Debug Fortinet products’ issues and collaborate with product Dev/QA teams
- Maintain staging environment and performing required tests
- Support SOC team with threat detection development, test and release Create queries and reports using PostgreSQL for SOC triage, threat hunting and other purposes
Required Technical Skills & Experience
- Experience with Security products and technologies; Fortinet products are a bonus
- Experience with service management processes like Configuration, Change and Incident management
- Experience with multi-tenant environment and related designs and architecture
- Hands-on experience with private cloud technologies
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools; PostgreSQL experience is a bonus
- Hands-on experience with Security technologies such as SIEM and SOAR
- Expertise in any of top SOAR platforms (FortiSOAR is preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Bash scripting
- Hands-on experience with Python scripting and API programming; QA and DevOps experience is a bonus
- Understanding of SOC operations and Incident Response lifecycle
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of incident detection & response workflows, threat intelligence, and attacker TTPs
- Understanding of layered security at data, OS and network levels
- Understanding of network concepts, common protocols and services
- Understanding and hands-on experience with security products like Firewalls, SIEM, EDR, NDR is a bonus Knowledge of SDLC lifecycle and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling is a bonus

- Security certifications are a binus (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GSEC, GCIA, GCFA, etc.)

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $101,600 - $124,200 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
